School Information

Our school policies.

A summary of the key policies that keep our school safe, fair and well organised. Full policy documents are shared with enrolled families.

Child safety & safeguarding

All staff follow child-safety guidelines. Children are supervised at all times, visitors are verified, and children are released only to registered guardians or adults authorised in writing. Concerns about a child’s wellbeing are reported to school leadership immediately and handled sensitively.

Attendance & punctuality

Regular attendance is essential for learning. Parents are requested to inform the class teacher of any absence and to provide a note or medical certificate for extended absences. Children should arrive before 8:30 AM.

Behaviour & anti-bullying

We expect respect, kindness and responsibility. Poor choices are addressed calmly and restoratively. Bullying — physical, verbal or online — is not tolerated and is addressed promptly, with parents informed.

Uniform & appearance

Students wear the prescribed uniform and sports uniform on designated days, with identity cards where issued. Uniform details are shared at admission.

Health & medication

Children who are unwell should rest at home. Parents must inform the school of allergies or medical conditions. Medication is given only with written parental consent and instructions.

Fees & refunds

Fees are payable according to the schedule shared at admission. Receipts are issued for all payments. Refund and withdrawal terms are provided in writing with the fee structure.

Mobile phones & devices

Students may not use personal phones or devices during school hours. Where a phone must be carried for travel, it is kept switched off and handed in as per school instructions.

Communication

The school communicates through circulars, the class diary, phone and email. Parents are encouraged to raise concerns first with the class teacher.

Grievance redressal

Concerns not resolved by the class teacher may be raised with the coordinator and then the Principal, in person or by email to arkaasvignanschool4@gmail.com. We aim to acknowledge grievances promptly and resolve them fairly.

These summaries are for general information. Detailed policies are provided to enrolled families and may be updated from time to time in line with CBSE and state guidelines. See also our privacy policy and website terms.
